Three programs. Three formats. One compliance partner. Every program is available online nationwide, on-site at your location, or in-person at scheduled classes across Florida.
Available: In-Person • On-Site • Online
Most states require at least one certified Food Protection Manager per establishment. We deliver instructor-led prep and the proctored ServSafe® exam with a 90%+ first-time pass rate – so your managers walk out certified, not coming back to re-test.
Available: In-Person • On-Site • Online
Certify your entire back-of-house and service staff in hours, not days. Bulk enrollment, on-site group training, and online access minimize operational disruption – even when your team evolves quickly.
Available: In-Person • On-Site • Online
Help protect your liquor license with responsible vendor training. Give servers, bartenders, and managers practical guidance on ID checks, over-service, underage sales, and alcohol-service risk.
Food Manager, Food Handler, Responsible Vendor alcohol training, or a combination across locations – we’ll help you sort it out.
Online for any state. On-site at your location – we travel. Or in-person at one of our scheduled classes across Florida.
Your team completes training, receives documentation, and gets tracking support so you know who is current, who is expiring, and who needs renewal.
One Training Partner for Every Location
Scalable compliance training for restaurant groups, bars, franchise operators, and hotel F&B teams.
Whether you operate three restaurants or thirty – in one state or fifteen – managing compliance shouldn’t require a different vendor at every site. We coordinate training across your entire portfolio: online for distributed teams, on-site for any location, and in-person where our scheduled classes run.
One point of contact handles your account – not a ticketing queue or a different rep at every location. We sync with your operations or HR lead, build a schedule that fits how your team evolves, and notify you before any certification expires. You don’t chase us; we chase your compliance for you.
Multi-State Coverage – Online certification in all 50 states. On-site training available nationwide. One vendor for portfolios that span state lines.
Not every training provider understands restaurants, bars, hotels, and the realities of daily operations. Here’s why hospitality businesses choose Serve It Up Safe.
DBPR-approved in Florida. ANAB-accredited Food Manager credentials are recognized in nearly every state. We build programs around the actual regulations your operation answers to – not a one-size-fits-all national module that ignores state-specific requirements.
We focus on restaurants, bars, hotels, and food service operations – not every industry under the sun. That focus makes our training more practical for owners, managers, and frontline hospitality teams.
Real instructors. Real interaction. In-person and live options that build actual competence – not a click-through slideshow your team forgets by tomorrow.
Call and get a person. Email and get a response. We work to schedule on-site sessions around your operating hours – not the other way around.
The cost of missed training, expired certifications, or poor documentation can be far higher than the cost of getting your team trained correctly.
took compliance seriously before an incident occurred. When questions come up, organized training records are the first thing your insurance carrier and your attorney will ask for.
Health inspectors – DBPR in Florida, your state’s equivalent elsewhere – check certifications on every visit. Expired or missing certs can lead to violations, fines, and follow-up inspections.
One foodborne illness incident can destroy years of reputation with guests, staff, and regulators. Compliance training is the most cost-effective brand protection you can invest in.
Your liquor license is your most valuable and most vulnerable asset. Responsible Vendor training reduces over-service risk and gives your license a documented defense if there’s an incident.
Requirements vary by state. In Florida, every food service establishment generally needs certified food protection manager coverage and food handler training for applicable food employees. Most other states require equivalent Food Manager certification through ANAB-accredited programs, and many require or recommend Food Handler training. If you serve alcohol, Responsible Vendor training can help support responsible service practices and risk management. Tell us your business type, location, and team size, and we’ll point you to the right training path.
Food Handler training starts at $7 per person. Food Manager certification ranges from $129 (self-study + exam) to $179 (private on-site class + exam). Responsible Vendor alcohol training starts at $29 per person, with private on-site sessions available at a flat rate of $599. Group and multi-location pricing is available – contact us with your team size and number of locations for a custom quote.
Yes. We offer private on-site training at your location, scheduled around your operating needs. This is often the fastest way to train a full team without sending employees to separate public classes. Contact us with your team size, location, training needed, and preferred dates, and we’ll build the plan.
Yes. We work with multi-unit restaurant groups, franchise operators, bar groups, and hotel F&B teams. One point of contact can help coordinate scheduling, enrollments, and certification tracking across locations. Tell us how many locations you operate, where they are, and what training is needed, and we’ll build a plan that fits.
All 50 states for online training. Florida and the Southeast for in-person scheduled classes. Anywhere in the US for private on-site training – we travel. Because requirements and program approvals vary by state, tell us your locations and we’ll confirm the best available option for each.
Online options are available immediately. Private on-site and in-person training can often be scheduled quickly depending on location, instructor availability, and team size. Contact us with your timeline and we’ll find the fastest available option.
In Florida, Food Manager certifications are valid for 5 years and Food Handler certifications are valid for 3 years. Validity periods vary by state for operators outside Florida. We track your team’s certifications and notify you before expirations so you never fall out of compliance.
Yes. Our Food Manager program is DBPR-approved in Florida (Program #1519600) and uses the ANAB-accredited ServSafe® exam recognized in nearly every state. Our Florida Food Handler program is state-approved. For Responsible Vendor and other training, we’ll confirm the appropriate option based on your business type, location, and training needs.
Yes. Spanish-language Food Manager classes are available in the Miami area, and we continue to expand language options across programs. Tell us what your team needs and we’ll confirm available language options for your location and training type.
Public classes are ideal for one or two managers who need certification quickly. Private on-site training is best when you need to train a full team or multiple managers at once. Online training works well for distributed teams, renewals, or employees who need flexible access. If you’re not sure, tell us your situation and we’ll recommend the best fit.
Yes. Online self-study and remotely proctored exam options are available. Many operators also choose instructor-led classes when managers need structured preparation and live interaction before the exam. Tell us your timeline and number of managers, and we’ll recommend the best path.
Cheaper online options can work for a simple individual renewal. They fall short when you have a team to train, multiple locations to coordinate, a compliance deadline, or a real question that needs a real answer. Serve It Up Safe provides state-specific compliance knowledge, instructor-led options, group coordination, real support, and certification tracking for teams and multi-location businesses. If you want a training partner – not a one-off certificate vendor – we can help.
One training partner for every location. Online nationwide. In-person across Florida. On-site anywhere your operation runs.
No contracts. No hassle. Just compliant teams.
Tell us your locations, team size, and timeline. A real person will follow up within one business day with your recommended training plan.
