State Requirements

A key consideration for owners and managers in the food and beverage industry is compliance with state food safety regulations. Many states, including Florida, require certifications such as a Food Handler certificate or alcohol service training to help protect both customers and their businesses. The certification demonstrates that the employee has been properly trained and understands essential food safety practices.

Serve It Up Safe provides accessible online and in-person training designed to help businesses, managers, and employees meet these requirements quickly and efficiently. We offer Food Handler training and certification for servers, waitstaff, and hosts, State Food Safety Manager certification for managers, and the Florida Responsible Vendor of Alcohol training for managers, servers, and bartenders.

Food Handler Certification

Florida has state food safety requirements for food service employees called the Food Handler Certification.
