Schedule a State of Florida approved Responsible Vendor of Alcohol Training (RVA) with Serve It Up Safe today by reaching out to info@serveitupafe.com
To remain compliant with Florida’s Responsible Vendor requirement, Serve It Up Safe provides an in-person alcohol compliance class once a year (~1.5 hours long and conducted on-site for all employees and managers) and two follow up virtual trainings.
The two follow-up virtual training sessions can be completed via Serve It Up Safe’s online training portal, which you can access on this page.
Since the Responsible Vendor training is a tri-annual requirement (i.e., required three times a year), the two follow-up trainings should be completed 4 months and 8 months after your in-person training.
Each employee can perform the follow up training as their schedule permits (i.e., you don’t have to block off everyone’s time on a certain day for an in-person training).
These follow-up training sessions are short and easy to complete, although meet all the requirements for the FL RVA certification, and are included in the one-time cost paid for the annual in-person RVA training.
Benefits of being a Florida Responsible Vendor
While the Responsible Vendor of Alcohol class is not mandated by the state of Florida, many liquor liability insurers require it.
Completing the training and maintaining compliance may lead to reductions in liability insurance premiums
Certified responsible vendors are protected from liquor license suspension or revocation due to alcohol-related incidents and may receive reduced fines and penalties
